Ripple Junction

Accessory Design Intern - Fall 2022

  • Assisted production art team by preparing art to be printed on garments and formatting nearly 1,000 designs to be made on demand.

  • Designed licensed apparel and accessories and helped in a key time of growth with new retail customers for Ripple Junction's accessory business, assisted in creating customer presentations.

  • Created tech packs for new bag/accessory blanks, managed factory samples.

  • Led the creation of a replacement for the mini backpack blank to be used in future seasons (trend research, sketching, design, tech pack).

Fossil Men’s Watch

Design Intern - Spring 2022

  • Worked as a key designer within Fossil's flasgship men's watch brand

  • Designed new watches and packaging for their main line as well as limited edition collaborations

  • Utilized sketching, Adobe Illustrator, and Indesign to conceptualize and render designs for daily presentation to the design team, product development, merchandising, and leadership

  • Created realistic renders and technical documents for manufacturing and sampling

  • Conducted trend research and presented trend reports of new areas to expand and update Fossil's line

Hillrom

Design Intern - Summer 2021

  • Worked with Hillrom’s global design team to conceptualize new products and features within Hillrom’s medical device portfolio.

  • Concept visualization through sketching, SolidEdge, and Keyshot.

  • User interface design/development and product labeling utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Xd, and After Effects.

  • Collaborated with internal and external customers, New Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, Marketing and Market Research to determine design requirements.

Fifth Third Bank

Virtual Innovation Studio - August-September 2020

  • Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of students in a research-focused innovation sprint.

  • Created a proposal for how Fifth Third’s Commercial clients within the Logistics industry can leverage emerging 5G and Edge computing technology to gain insights on their fleets.

  • Worked closely with Fifth Third’s ONE67 Innovation team and presented our proposal to stakeholders.

Pratt Design

Design Intern - Spring 2020

  • Created new display structures from a variety of corrugated, paperboard and plastic materials.

  • Utilized Adobe Creative Suite, CAD programs and the Kongsberg samplemaker

  • Built prototypes, created specifications, Bills of Materials, graphics and assembly instructions to provide clients with quality display vehicles.
